Nidana’s Migrants:
This section tells about as and when, who and where moved in and out of village under changing perspectives and preferences of career and livelihood.
Village of Lalit Kheda: How the village of Lalit Kheda came into existence: In order to reduce the increasing population pressure from big villages; in the year of 1868, the then emperor of Jind Empire late. Maharaja Raghuvir Singh called the people from villages of Nidana, Ludhana and Bhidtana to establish a new small habitant on north-eastern fields of Nidana land premises. As a result the land of older Nidana was divided between Nidana and Lalit Kheda. Right side is the image of the then Maharaja Raghuvir Singh of Jind.
Current Lalit Kheda: After few years of establishment of Lalit Kheda, the habitants from Ludana and Bhidtana returned back to their respective villages. Now Lalit Kheda is wholly comprised of Nidana ancestor’s descendents. Village is situated in north-eastern landscapes of older Nidana, now known as the village of Lalit Kheda. |

Nidana’s Immigrants:
Pakistani Refugees: During 1947 (
the time of partition of India), there was a huge inflow of our Hindu brothers from Pakistan. The belt of districts of Sirsa, Fatehabaad, Jind, Hissar, Rohtak upto Nai Dilli along National Highway Number 10, presented the most welcoming gesture for our Pakistani brothers, who got a shelter in almost every city and village on both sides of this belt and thus fortunate was Nidana village. Village also spread its hands in warm welcome of these true religion lovers of Hinduism. There were many such families living in village but how many still are in the village is yet to confrim.
People moving in from other sister states: In the search of labor and better livelihood, village sees a seasonal as well as permanent immigration of people from other sister states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal and sometimes even from Nepal
