u say right...m satisfy from ur haryana means... tabhi to in parts me aapasa me ristedaria hai...lekin aaj ki generation ko isske baare me nhi pata vo log harayana - u.p. me bahut diff mante hai but reallity ye hai language cultute food same hai. tabhi to maharastra ke logon ke aage mumbai mein agar me apni khariboli bolu to vo log kehte u r frm haryana nt frm u.p. |

If you want to follow somebody for his topical and incisive commentary, here is a name that comes to my mind: he is Phool Kumar Malik of Nidana Heights.
If you read his notes, you will find his forceful comments and relevant arguments in support thereof. He writes both in English and Hindi with equal proficiency. He seems to take pride in projecting his viewpoints in theth (real) Haryanvi dialect and that is really refreshing coming from an NRI engaged in the performance of duties of a professional.

I was really impressed with the content and the analytically and intelligent way in which it is presented. In fact, when the website was launched, there was also news coverage in the media but it escaped my notice or I lost track of it even after reading it. From now on, I will keep tracking it.

Do you know that village Nidana, Haryana has its own website that is updated daily. The most amazing thing about this website is that it is available in 3 different languages that are Hindi, English and Haryanvi. Yes you heard it right. In Haryanvi too.
This website covers all social issues of Haryana. It shares the latest happenings in Haryana and village Nidana. It also shares the latest agricultural techniques for our farmers.
It also features e-Choupal which is again a unique concept. It also promotes the vibrant and great culture of Haryana.
Phool Kumar Malik currently living in Lille, France is the force behind this unique website. His love for the country and Haryana can be seen from his website.
This website is an inspiration for us. We salute Mr. Malik for his great efforts. Whole India is proud of this unique website.

After having a cursory glance at your site, I can say that it is a genuine endeavor to show-case the true colours of rural Haryana and its vibrant culture. This site would definitely go a long way in preserving the intangible heritage of rich Haryanvi culture and traditions. Nidana Heights can, of course, be taken as a case study for those who are doing doctorate on rural life in Haryana as well as urban students.
