इस गाँव को देखकर समझ में आता है कि क्यों हरियाणा का नाम सुनते ही इस बात का अहसास होता है कि यहाँ सिर्फ खापों का प्राचीन लोकतंत्र सर्व-जात में ही नहीं अपितु यहाँ की स्थापत्य कला भी सार्वजनिक होती थी| इस गाँव को देख के अहसास होता है कि जहां लोग बड़े-बड़े किलों-दुर्गों को देखकर रोमांचित होते हैं, ऐसे-ऐसे किलानुमा तो मेरे हरियाणा के एक-एक गाँव हैं| जहां वो किले-दुर्ग किसी एक राजा-रजवाड़ा के होते हैं, यहाँ गाँव-के-गाँव की कला समाज के हर वर्ग की होती है| और शायद इसीलिए हमको रोजी-रोटी कमाने के लिए किले-दुर्गों पर पर्यटकों को नहीं बुलाना पड़ता, क्योंकि कला हमारे जीवन में बसती है| और हरियाणा के रोहतक जिले की महम तहसील का यह गाँव सामाण, इसी बात का जीता-जागता साकार है|

 छतरियाँ के तले नाह्न्नी बणी होड़ सें, जित लोग नहाया करदे पहलम अर साहरे-साहरे, चारुं ओड के खेळ बणी होड़ सें , जित डांगर पाणी पीया करदे। |
 या गाम की धर्म शाला स जित कई सौ माणस कट्ठे ठहर सकें सें, इन्नी बड्डी धर्मशाला छिददी-ए पाया करे। |

 उप्पर कुंए की मीनार तले कुंआं स आधार। कुंए का पाड्छा एक विशेष कोण पे बणाया जाया करदा ताकि कोए भीतर ना पडजा, नजू खीन्च्दी हाण| ये म्हारी अत्यंत विकसित देशी इंजीनियरिंग के नायाब नमूने सें। |
 लुगाइयां खातर बनाई होड़ धरम शाला, या वेशेष ढंग तें बनाई जाया करदी ताकि इह में बाहर तें भीतर का किम्मे ना दीखे । |
 मीनार बतावें सें अक कदे कुंआं था बड़े काम का। |
 ये थारे याद दुवाण खातर-ए छाप्पे सें। हमें भूल ना जाना, लौट के आना, ओ परदेश जाने वाले।
तुम्हें पुकारें, रास्ता ताकें रे, ये कुंए, जोहड़, शिवाले। |
